The Gaggle book is going to be a movie! New Line Cinema, the studio behind such films as Sex & the City, Wedding Crashers, He’s Just Not That Into You , The Lord of the Rings and (umhaveweevermentioned?) THE NOTEBOOK acquired the option when it was just a book proposal.

The Gaggle movie producers are Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss, of Cue the Dog Productions, whose credits include My Sister’s Keeper, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Rite and many other book adaptations.

New Line has hired screenwriters Emily Cook & Kathy Greenberg. Cook & Greenberg’s previous credits include: Ratatouille and Gnomeo & Juliet. Greenberg created The L Word.
